An AR multiplayer game
Burn Forest Burn is an Augmented Reality game for two players. One player chops trees and builds houses, the other burns down trees and makes space for cows. Who is the first to eliminate all their trees? What consequences do your actions have on the environment? Watch how it works here!
Graphics & Interactions
The technology we use to create our graphics and interactions are Unity, Vuforia and Blender. Unity allows us to collaborate with GitHub.
Challenges & Obstacles
Choosing the right technology that suits our group best was a challenge. Dividing the work evenly to seven people was an obstacle we had to overcome.
Lessons learned
We have learned to combine all knowledge of the group to be able to work as efficient as possible. Learning from each other as well as gaining new knowledge.

"Tangible Cubes Used as the User Interface in an Augmented Reality Game for Edutainment" by Carmen M. Juan et al. shows that AR works well to learn about important issues in a fun way.
Our main goal was to create a fun and sarcastic game that makes you realise what consequences some of your actions can have on the environment. Our requirements were using AR, including a 3D printed model and a sprinkle of dark humor about sustainability. In this video you can see the process and outcome. View our gallery for more!
